Everything you need to know about Villa Uno

Villa Uno is a luxury detached family villa with heated swimming pool and views of Lake Vinuela. It is located in the rural village of Alcaucin, a typical Spanish mountain village with Spanish being almost the only language. The village is located in an undoubtedly beautiful, charismatic spot which has an endless flow of fresh mountain water and is frequented by people from local villages who come to fill their water bottles and barrels. There are 6 bars/restaurants within walking distance, as well as 3 mini-markets and 2 bakers with fresh produce at excellent Spanish prices.

The villa itself has 3 bedrooms and a den which will sleep up to 6 adults and 5 children. It also has 4 terraces and a large barbecue. It is a 50 minute drive from Malaga airport to the Villa, and only a 20 minute drive from the villa to the costal resort of Torre Del Mar. If you would like your holiday to include some skiing Villa Uno is only 90 minutes from the ski resort of Sierra Nevada. Other nearby activities include golf and horseriding.

During your stay you will be a 5 minute walk to the village, however the village is located up a very steep hill making it difficult for the infirm although it is very accessible from the villa by car for those less able. A car is not necessary to holiday in this beautiful spot, however for access to more shops, restaurants, the lake, the beach and surrounding villages it would be a must. Car hire, as well as a taxi transfer to and from Malaga airport can be arrange when booking the villa. Please contact us for a full costing.

Villa Uno is ideal for a family looking for a relaxing break. The villa has air conditioning, a wood stove and guests are provided with linen and towels for their stay. Within the kitchen there is an oven, hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, bread maker, juicer and a breakfast bar for 2 people.

The villa has an open plan lounge and dining room. The dining table will seat 6 people and there is fireplace seating for 6 to 8 people. The lounge is furnished with a CD player, flat screen tv and DVD player. There is also a selection of board games and films available.

When it's time to turn in for the night you will find that the villa is adequately equipped to cope with the largest families. There are 3 doubled bedrooms within the villa, the master bedroom has a super kingsize bed, fitted wardrobes and en-suite with over bath shower. The second bedroom has a kingsize bed and again has fitted wardrobes. There are also fitted wardrobes in the third bedroom along with two large single beds.

The villa contains an en-suite bathroom off the master bedroom. There is also a large family shower room, with a double sink.

The den located in the basement is equipped with 4 large single beds, 1 double bed, a pool table, tv, DVD player and a PC for games. At the moment the villa does not have an internet connection. The den also has a washing machine and ironing area. The den is ideal for 5 or 6 older children.

Outside the villa you will find the large built in barbecue, parking, garden, terraces with loungers, large dining table and eight chairs. The heated swimming pool has wide steps that allows easy access to the pool.

Please note that pets are not allowed, nor is smoking inside the villa, but children are very welcome. The roads leading to the villa from the village are under development, and this is reflected in the current rental price of the villa. The villa and the views are stunning.
